a trip we all should take

Recently I went on a trip. I spent a week in the wilderness, completely separate from society. It opened my eyes to nature, and made me appreciate all the things I take for granted, and have been graced with experiencing. It changed my life and outlook on life, and I feel it's something that everyone should get to experience. I doesn't necessarily have to be the same experience, but one that yields the same result. We could all just use a moment to step back and say thank you.

I don't know how many of you this short passage will actually affect, but it's just my thoughts at the moment that i wanted to share.

Today is my 18th birthday. In a way I think it's also my 1st birthday. I got a tie clip. Today I join the world and dive into the everyday monotony of existence with one goal.
